It is located in one of the best resort parks in the panhandle. There are no more RV parks on the drawing board and possibly never again, because there is little land zoned for RV parks and the little land left is too high to practically build one. Lot includes 50/30/20 amp service, water, sewer, cable and telephone hook-ups. A storage building - insulated, paneled and air conditioned and landscaping and patio, with table and benches, are part of the package.

Resort RV Park is located just two blocks to the best beaches in the USA. It is gated and at the dead end of a street. It is very secure and quiet, with local traffic only. The park allows pets and children. The maintenance fees are $225 per quarter. The fee covers water, sewerage, garbage pick-up, lawncare, pesticide and fertilizer treatment, pine straw for gardens, pool care and cleaning, electric on pool and clubhouse, cable TV for clubhouse, insurance on common property, sprinkler system and maintenance of various common area components around the park.

A $4000 vinyl sided 8 foot by 10 foot storage building comes with the lot. Each lot must have the same type of storage building and some owners insulate and sheetrock the building , put air conditioning and TV and a futon bed in for visitors to stay. This is great for your kids to use or convert it into a computer room.

Taxes run about $800 per year and electric averages about $50/$70 per month for a fulltime usage. When electric is not used it cost about $8 per month. Owners are protected by a covenant to maintain property values. Water and sewer are paid for by the owners association. The park is managed by the owners association and each lot owner is responsible for the upkeep of their personal garden and pad. Owners are allowed to rent out their lot. No unit may be rented. A copy of the covenants is available for interested parties.

  Destin is getting more popular all the time and there are lots of tourists during the summer, especially during late June and all of July and maybe one week in August. BUT, the rest of the year is open for enjoying the area without crowds. We live here all the time and love it. It is quiet, secure, well manicured, rich, good schools, lots of beaches, water and boating. The fishing is some of the best in the nation, good restaurants, lots of shopping, great golf courses and warm weather most of the year. Believe it or not the bug population is almost non-existent. Keep it our secret!
