RV modified to accommodate my mom after her leg was lost due to diabetes. We installed a “Coach Lift”. The updated floorplan allows a transport wheelchair to move around and created shower that fits shower chair. More maneuverability, bed replaced with pullout couch, walkway widened. Walls around bathroom changed to accordion walls. Flooring all laminate, upholstery upgraded to vinyl for easy cleaning. Added a washer/dryer for “on the go” cleanups. After my mom passed, we filled a critically needed niche for a Handicap Accessible RV for rent. We were the only accessible RV for rent in the United States. When you’re not enjoying the RV yourselves, rather than letting it just sit, it can generate income and help families in need. The cab overhead has water damage. Cosmetic issues in need of repair. Main components all working condition. Generator low hours, tires, batteries good shape. Includes hitch carrier with ramp to bring motorized scooter. It’s tow bar made bringing our boat along on our adventures a lot of fun.

Wheelchair Accessible 24 FT Fleetwood Sprinter with Hand Controls

We purchased this wonderful 24 FT, 2010 Fleetwood Quest with 44,000 and it now has 64,000 on the Mercedes Benz 3500 Sprinter Chassis. (don’t be deceived by the Dodge Ram badging) The MPS hand controls were professionally installed. The SuperArm lift was custom altered and installed after I got tired of transferring out of my chair, up the stairs and back into my chair. The original door was not altered. This allows for a motivated and active paraplegic (and others) to access, drive and explore the country in this fully contained vehicle. The maximum opening in the door is 23.25 inches. The chair I use, which is included in the sale, (if you like) is a 21” outside of rim to outside of rim, 14″ Quickie that has been slightly modified for use in and outside of this vehicle. Using this chair, you can move from front to back of the motorhome without opening the slide out. This vehicle has been serviced by Mercedes Benz of Spokane and had its 60,000 service and recent oil, filter and service. No DEF fluid required on this 2008-9 chassis! This vehicle will truly get 15 MPG on the highway. The turbocharged 6 cylinder diesel with 4 speed automatic and overdrive has impressive power and will tow 4000lb vehicle. Updated rear monitor and camera. Toyo tires have 7500 miles on them. The 3600 KW generator runs on Propane and has less than 400 hours on the unit. Propane heat and 6 gallon water heater. The roof has never had any leaks and was recently professionally resealed and bathroom skylight replaced. This rigg has always been stored indoors since we have owned it. I have altered the rear seating area to a very comfortable twin? size 8-inch-thick memory foam mattress bed. (We have all the original cushions) The quite pricy, accordion type privacy blinds were installed by the dealer we purchased the vehicle from. Sofa folds out to sleep 2. Quite comfortable overhead bed sleeps 2 ? Sirius satellite radio, DVD, 2 TV,s If you can drive a car, you can drive this rigg just about anywhere except for the drive thru. 26 FT. of bumper-to-bumper fun and adventure.
